Description:
The Lord willing we will meet at the church on Wednesday Nov. 18th at 8:00 pm to continue our discussion on the book of Daniel -- title "Week 3 -- Nebuchadnezzar's (N) Dream of a Great Statue". The meeting will be led by Fred DeWit. Suggested readings are Daniel 2, Genesis 40, 41. Some questions we can begin to think about: How does the action "seek mercy" lead to praise for God. How does the confession of N's wise men highlight the power of God in incarnation? Where does the stone in N's dream "end up"? Some concepts we can discuss: mystery = what God has yet to disclose about his purposes for the world, the purpose of Revelation, and the meaning of wisdom. Looking forward to studying with you.
